Terms of Service

What MotoHood is

MotoHood Rentals is a free listing platform that connects riders with independent bike rental shops in the Himalayas. We are not a rental company, travel agent, or payment processor. Every rental agreement — price, deposit, documents, fuel, damage terms — is made directly between you and the shop.

For riders

You must hold a valid driving licence for the vehicle you rent and follow all local laws, including permits required for certain routes (for example, Inner Line Permits in Ladakh). Verify the bike's condition, price and terms with the shop before riding. Mountain riding carries real risk — you ride at your own responsibility.

For shop owners

Listing is free and commission-free. In return, you agree to keep your listing accurate — real bikes, real prices, honest availability — and to honor the prices you display. We may edit or remove listings that receive repeated complaints or misrepresent what they offer.

Our liability

We work to keep listings accurate but provide the platform "as is". MotoHood is not liable for disputes between riders and shops, accidents, breakdowns, injuries, or losses arising from any rental. We may update these terms as the platform grows; continued use means you accept the current version.
