Welcome to MotoHood Rides. These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the MotoHood Rides mobile application (the "App"), operated by MotoHood ("we," "us," "our"). By creating an account or using the App, you agree to these Terms.

1. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old to use MotoHood Rides. By using the App, you confirm that you meet this requirement and that you hold a valid license to operate a motorcycle in your jurisdiction, if you intend to ride.

2. Nature of the Service

MotoHood Rides is a platform that helps riders plan, organize, and share group motorcycle rides. This includes route planning, live location sharing during rides, group chat, and ride history tracking.

MotoHood Rides is a coordination tool, not a riding instructor, safety authority, or guarantee of rider safety. We do not supervise, inspect, or control the actual riding activity of any user.

3. Rider Responsibility & Assumption of Risk

Motorcycle riding carries inherent risk of injury or death. By using this App to organize or join rides, you acknowledge and accept these risks.

You are solely responsible for riding safely, obeying traffic laws, wearing appropriate safety gear, and ensuring your motorcycle is roadworthy.
MotoHood does not vet, verify, or guarantee the riding skill, licensing, insurance status, or conduct of any user, including ride hosts.
We are not liable for any accident, injury, loss, or damage arising from a ride organized, hosted, or joined through the App.

4. Account Registration

You must provide a valid phone number to create an account, verified via OTP.
You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account and for all activity under it.
You agree to provide accurate profile information and not impersonate another person.

5. User Conduct

You agree not to:

Use the App for any unlawful purpose.
Harass, threaten, or endanger other users.
Post false, misleading, or harmful information in ride details, chat, or your profile.
Attempt to disrupt, hack, or reverse-engineer the App.
Use the App to organize illegal street racing or reckless riding activity.

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms, or that are reported for unsafe or abusive conduct.

6. Location Sharing

Live location sharing is a core feature of group rides. By enabling location sharing, you consent to your real-time location being visible to other participants in that specific ride, for the duration of the ride. You can disable location sharing at any time, though this may limit your experience within an active ride.

7. Content

You retain ownership of the content you post (profile info, chat messages, ride details), but grant us a license to store, display, and transmit that content as needed to operate the App.
We may remove content or restrict accounts that violate these Terms or applicable law.

8. Disclaimers

The App is provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not guarantee that the App will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that route/location data will always be accurate.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, MotoHood and its operators shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages, including but not limited to personal injury, death, or property damage, arising from your use of the App or participation in any ride organized through it.

10. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the App after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.

11. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by the laws of India, without regard to conflict of law principles.
